Xeditor / eZXHTML / Xinha Integration

With the release of eZ's own editor under the GPL, the main motivation for this project is gone. While I still like Xinha much more than the Online Editor, I can't justify the time to maintain this. I therefore place whatever code there is under the BSDL and invite anyone who cares to take it.

What follows is for historical purposes only.

  • The xmltext field is inflexible, it has a very limited number of allowed tags, far too little to make it easy for Xinha to deal it with. For this reason, I ripped it out and replaced it with a handler that can deal with any form of well formed XHTML
Online Demo

For now, ezxhtml related things live in the pubsvn. Should you decide to try it out on your site (I run it here, it works now subject to the constraints above), DO READ the readme. And take the warning SERIOUSLY.

How it works

This is a short yet technical description of how ezxhtml was implemented.
