I've had this working many months ago but never came round packaging it which I've finally done now.
So I present a
small demo of it (please note:while Anonymous user can reorder the things, displaying the reordered objects somehow fails because of some cache glitch; after clearing the cache the objects are in the new order, but more importantly, for admin users it works without cache clearing so it's probably some permission related thing).
